Origins

Löwecode traces its origins to a project Joseph Lowe conceptualized in 2007 while serving in the U.S. military. His military responsibilities included communications, automation, and technical support. He continued developing the project independently as his career in information technology progressed. In 2025, he began transforming this longstanding initiative into a business under the Löwecode name. Today, Löwecode LLC is a small, veteran-owned technology company specializing in solution engineering and the development of original software products.

Throughout his 25 year career, Joseph advanced from network and systems administration to data center operations, IT project management, and senior technology leadership. He has served as a software development lead, chief information officer, and enterprise architect, gaining extensive experience in applications, data, infrastructure, and security. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems from Park University. In 2026, he completed Virginia Tech’s Master of Information Technology program, earning graduate certificates in Information Systems Design and Software Development.

The philosophy behind Löwecode is reflected in its lion paw emblem. A lion’s presence is often known by the mark it leaves behind, an idea expressed in the emblem’s bold angles and deliberate geometric simplicity. It represents confident leadership, independent thinking, a willingness to challenge convention and push the boundaries of modern technology. From its origins as an independent project to its evolution into a technology company, Löwecode has embraced the ambition to pursue original ideas, establish its own direction, and leave a distinctive mark on the future of technology.
